Editing a live listing
You can edit any part of a published job at any time. Changes usually appear on the site within five minutes.
- Sign in and go to Dashboard > Jobs.
- Find the listing and click the ⋯ menu on the right, then Edit.
- Make your changes. Common edits include:
- updating the salary range after a budget change
- adding a new interview step to the “How to apply” section
- correcting the location or work arrangement
- Click Save changes.
Tip: If you change the title or location significantly, for example from “Remote” to “On-site in Berlin”, consider closing the old listing and posting a new one. Candidates who saved the original job may otherwise be confused.
Changes that need a review
Most edits go live straight away. A few changes are checked by our trust team first, to protect candidates from misleading listings:

While a change is under review, the previous version of the listing stays visible.
Extending the deadline
- Open the listing and click Edit.
- Under Application deadline, pick a new date.
- The new deadline can be up to 90 days after the original posting date on Starter, or 120 days on Growth and Pro.
- Save your changes. Candidates with a saved copy of the job receive an update in their alerts.
Pausing applications
If you have enough candidates for now but don’t want to close the job, you can pause it.
- In Dashboard > Jobs, open the ⋯ menu and select Pause applications.
- Choose whether to keep the listing visible with a “Not accepting applications” label, or hide it completely.
Paused jobs still count toward your active listing limit. You can resume them at any time.
Closing a job
Close a listing when the role is filled or cancelled.
- Open the ⋯ menu and click Close job.
- Select a reason. This is only used for your own reports and is never shown publicly.
- Decide whether to send a closing message to open applicants. The default message is short and polite, and you can edit it before sending.
- Click Confirm.
Closed jobs show a “Closed” label for 7 days and are then removed from the jobs page. If you need to post a similar role later, use Duplicate from the same menu so you don’t have to start from scratch. New to posting? Start with Posting your first job.
