For job seekers

Is HireWise free for job seekers?

Yes. Searching jobs, saving them, setting up alerts and applying are free, and always will be. Employers pay to post listings; candidates never pay to apply.

How do I search for remote jobs only?

Type “remote” into the job search box, or open the Remote filter on the home page. Each listing shows whether a role is Remote, Hybrid or On-site, and remote roles list the countries or time zones they can hire in.

How long does an application take?

About 3 minutes on average. Once your profile and CV are saved, most applications only ask for a short cover note. Some employers add 2 or 3 screening questions.

Can I see which companies viewed my application?

Yes. Under Applications you can see when each application was sent, when the employer opened it and whether it moved to the interview stage. Employers update the status themselves, so timings vary.

How do job alerts work?

Save any search and choose how often to hear about new matches: instantly, once a day at 08:00 your local time, or once a week on Mondays. You can pause or delete an alert from the email itself.

For employers

How much does it cost to post a job?

The Starter plan costs $99 per month for 1 job post that stays visible for 30 days. Growth is $249 per month for 3 active posts with a company profile, and Pro is $499 per month. Quarterly and yearly billing lower the monthly price.

How quickly does a new listing go live?

Most listings are published within 15 minutes. Listings that mention unpaid work, upfront fees or very vague pay ranges are reviewed by our trust team first, which can take up to 1 business day.

Can I edit a job after it has been published?

Yes. Changes to the description, salary range or location are published immediately and do not reset the 30-day listing period. Changing the job title creates a new listing.

Do you support applicant tracking systems?

Yes. Applications can be forwarded to Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable or any system that accepts email, and every plan includes a CSV export of your applicants.

Billing and invoices

Which payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard and American Express on every plan, plus SEPA Direct Debit for customers in the EU. Annual plans can also be paid by bank transfer within 14 days of the invoice date.

Do your prices include VAT?

Prices are shown without VAT. EU businesses with a valid VAT number are charged under the reverse-charge rule; UK customers pay 20% VAT and other EU customers pay their local rate.

Can I get a refund?

If you cancel within 14 days of a renewal you get a pro-rated refund for the unused time. Single listings can be refunded in full if the listing has not yet been published.

Privacy and safety

Who can see my candidate profile?

Only employers you apply to, unless you switch on “Open to offers”. Then verified employers on the Growth plan or above can find your profile in search. Your email address and phone number are never shown publicly.

How do I report a suspicious job listing?

Use the “Report this job” link at the bottom of any listing. Never pay a fee to apply for a job or share bank details before an offer. Our trust team reviews every report within 24 hours.
